Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter provides clean showers, bedding, meals, and employment referrals. Additionally, The Salvation Army provides extended shelter for women and families.

Safe Haven Family Shelter

Safe Haven serves homeless families as a whole unit. Residents are comprised of married couples with children, and single mothers and fathers with children. The average length of stay is 30 to 45 days. The residents must be employed or in pursuit of employment, and must adhere to program rules.  Safe Haven can currently house fifteeen homeless families at a time.

Oasis Center Emergency Shelter

The Oasis Emergency Shelter houses up to twelve young people, aged 13–17, for up to two weeks, at no cost. Throughout their stay, residents receive specialized assessments, personalized grade-level education, individual, group, and family counseling, opportunities for recreation and exercise, and experiences being of service to others through weekly community service projects.

Monroe-Harding

Provides housing for youth ages 16-21 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or minor behavioral problems. Residents are provided education, vocation training, and life skills training.
